All That I'm After Is A Life Ever After...

so clearly i didn't get that butterfly project posted the next day like i said i would. oops! actually, i randomly decided that i was going to tear our apartment apart and reorganize, redecorate and basically do about 10 billion projects at once. well, i didn't decide to do them all at once, i just keep thinking "oh, man...i need to paint that little thing really quick so that i can put the stuff from this little thing into that and move this thing over there." it's pretty crazy but i've been so inspired and have been getting an insane amount of art done. art that i will share very very soon when i reveal a big super fun even bigger project that i'm so excited about.

how's that for mystery? :)

anyways, the butterfly project. we ended up unplugging the computer for a few days to renovate the space it's in so i'm just now getting it posted. i love butterflies. i think they make everything they touch look magical and therefore i use them on everything. in fact, i may overdo it a bit, but i'm ok with that. these are created using all JBS stuff (you can see the blog post i did about them, along with instructions here.) and have inspired a little kitchen redo, which is now on my big art list this week.

 

 

we even ended up doing a little photoshoot using thee butterflies from the bouquet...one that i love because i've been feeling not so awesome about the way that i look lately and nate is pretty much the one and only person that i truly believe thinks i'm beautiful. and the fact that he captured that calmness in me and made me feel beautiful in the rain on our back patio that day is evident to me. maybe just because i know how i was feeling during it, but either way they were good for me to look at, because when i look into my eyes i see someone who feels loved unconditionally...and that's a pretty amazing feeling. i've been working so hard at exercising and eating right but everything takes time...and that's hard for me right now. but i held my head up a little higher that day. :) (and i do realize that that banner on the top of my blog appears completely narcissistic...i don't intend to leave it up there long...i was just playing around with the photos and decided to put it up for a little bit since it gives me warm happy feelings to look at it.)
