Got Your Boyfriend Feeling Like A Groupie...

so we took a short half-week trip to ohio this past week. and despite it flying by at an absolutely unreasonable rate, we had a fabulous time while we were there with lots of family and photos and grilling and late-night laugh fests. it was a little hard to get back in that car to head back to DC, but i have to admit that it's always nice arrive at our little apartment and try to regain access to our daily routine. it didn't help that LB caught a horrible cold while we were there...nor was it awesome to realize when i got home that my back was in such bad shape. but we are pushing through and pressing on and hoping for a little less snot and pain for tomorrow. because tomorrow we have projects to do and suitcases to unpack...

in the meantime, our trip in photos:

first, a photoshoot with amy in a graveyard with a doll bed, a big gorgeous piece of chocolate and 2 pretty babies that i love so so much:

 

i loved seeing my friend...even just for a couple hours. (you can see a preview of her take on the shoot here):

 

colorful mustaches...used over and over until it only got old to nathan (but how awesome and out-of-character does he look in that group shot?...FINALLY a little crazy part of me is starting to rub off on him! :D):

 

a little girl that i adore that in return adores my babies...in fact, she might just be the undisputed leader of the londerpants/gracie-belle fan club:

best hosts/parents ever (and yes, while i do enjoy this photo, i did feel a bit like a creepy peeping tom taking it):

a visit to my grandparents where gracie met them for the first time and i took some keepsake photos for their kids and grandkids:

 

 

possibly the most photogenic child ever to live:

and some kids i miss so much it makes my heart ache. they make me feel like a celebrity no matter how long it's been or how much i've changed. and i love them for that:

i just love my family. so so much. but in retrospect i may have taken too many photos...however, you can see even more on my flickr where i'm heading to post them now!

oh my gosh....you are turning into a photo ROCK STAR! seriously...i want YOU to teach ME about photography. the mustache photos are awesome - i love that nathan got into it too. that photo of your parents through the window is AMAZING and so, so them!! and the photos of all the manz kiddos just make me want to go hang out at your parents house with them all. so sad now that i wasn't able to spend more time with you.
